The full programme of presentations from last month’s TEDxLondon are now available to watch online, in the TEDx spirit of ‘ideas worth spreading’.

Produced by Be Inspired Films and broadcast live over the internet throughout the one-day event, the wealth of TEDxLondon content has now been edited by the Be Inspired Films team to create twelve fascinating videos running from six to 20 minutes long – nearly three hours of ideas in lunchbreak-friendly chunks.

Held at The Crystal in London’s Royal Victoria Docks on December 6th, TEDxLondon had the theme of ‘City2.0′ and was part of a wider global discussion on sustainable cities. With a growing urban population, how can the world build and run better cities to cope with problems like overcrowding, shifting demographics, congestion and air pollution?

TEDxLondon was hosted by David Rowan, Editor of Wired UK, and featured speakers including structural engineer Roma Agrawal, London historian and journalist Leo Hollis, behavioural scientist Suzanne Holt Ballard and Michael Batty from the Centre for Advanced Spatial Analysis.

The speaker line-up was completed by interaction designer Alexander Grunsteidl, Tom Wright, Executive Director of the Regional Plan Association in the USA, Jonathan Keeling, Co-Founder of clean technology company Pavegen, installation designer Vanessa Harden, architect Michael Pawlyn, Roger Hartley of arts company Bureau Of Silly Ideas, environmentalist, entrepreneur and councillor Katharine Harborne and wireless communications expert Mischa Dohler.

Each of the speakers offers a thought-provoking take on the issues associated with massive urban growth and how we can prepare for a changing world through the intelligent planning of sustainable cities. TEDxLondon was organised by Evan Grant and his team.
